Ilana Miller, Founder.

With more than 13 years of legal experience, primarily as in-house counsel, Ilana advises businesses on the agreements and contracting systems that support their commercial relationships. Before founding Pilea Legal, she practiced sports law at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and held in-house roles with TaylorMade Golf Company, Texas Rangers Baseball Club, and Match Group, spanning sports, entertainment, consumer products, and technology.

Ilana appreciates the craft behind exceptional commercial contracting: not only the drafting and negotiation of individual agreements, but also designing the systems that make contracting more consistent, efficient, and scalable. She regularly advises clients on template development and rationalization, contract playbooks, and legal operations, helping legal and business teams work more effectively together.

Ilana graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied history and art history, and earned her law degree from the University of San Diego. While in law school, she worked full time in various baseball operations roles for the San Diego Padres.

Ilana is licensed to practice law in New York and Texas.
